Dear professionals,

As doulas, midwives and doctors, you are the dedicated supporters on the wonderful journey of parents-to-be. You bring your expertise and experience to guide mothers and fathers through this unique phase of life.

We know there are challenges. Every pregnancy is unique and not every birth experience meets the expectations of the parents-to-be. You are the first point of contact for parents. During pregnancy and after stressful births, birth psychology offers valuable tools to identify and reduce fears and stresses, to strengthen resources and to support both you as professionals and the parents-to-be.

Our goal is to strengthen and educate you in your important work. With our specialist events, training courses and online summits, we offer you up-to-date knowledge and sound support. Our focus is on prenatal and perinatal psychology – a field that is becoming increasingly important.

As board members of the European Association of Birth Psychology e.V., we are part of a dedicated network of professionals dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in birth psychology. By exchanging ideas with colleagues on an international level, we can gather and share insights that can enrich your work and improve the care of parents-to-be. We invite you to join this association and join us in advancing birth psychology.

Your role is invaluable and we want to accompany you on your professional journey. Let’s work together to create trust, bring joy and provide empathetic birth support. Because in the end, it is what counts and unites us: the joy at the beginning of a new life.
